General Notes: Papp's Dog Services moved in 2005 to a larger facility located at 881 W. Waterloo Road, Akron, Ohio, 44314. Puppy Class lasts four weeks at one hour per week. All other classes are for eight weeks at one hour per week. We teach you about Canine behavior, and guide you through the training of your dog to perform up to the recognized standards for Companion Dog (CD), Companion Dog Excellent (CDX), Utility Dog (UD), Rally, and Agility.
Run-Thrus: By appointment only. $6 per dog or $10 for two runs with the same dog.

BASIC COURSES
Puppy Class: Dogs of from eight weeks to four months of age. Good puppy citizenship in your home, including:
- Grooming and basic health care.
- Potty training.
- Crate training.
- Leash training, Sit, Down, Come.
- Behavior problems.
Beginner's Class: Dogs of four months and older. Offered several times per week (Call for dates and times). Everything you need to have a well leash-trained dog including:
- Walk nicely without pulling you. Sit automatically when you stop.
- Come when called.
- Sit Stay (with the goal that you will be on the other side of the room from the dog).
- Down Stay (with the goal that you will be on the other side of the room from the dog).
- Stand (Good for grooming, Vet visits, Cleaning muddy feet, etc.).
- Q/A for nuisance behaviors.
- Most dogs completing this class will pass the AKC Canine Good Citizen test.
Novice Class: Next class after Beginners. Preparation for off-lead work. Hand Signals. Solidifies past classes and prepares for any advanced training. Required for all competition courses.

Companion Dog II: Fine tuning in preparation for getting your dog's CD degree.
Open Class: Preparation for Companion Dog Excellent degree.
Utility Class: Preparation for the Utility Dog degree.
Rally
Rally I: Rules and regulations for Rally competition, Introduction for all signs for Rally Novice. How to walk a Rally course.
Rally II: Fine-tuning for Rally competition including signs for advanced Rally degrees (Rally Advanced and Rally Excellent).
Agility
Agility I: Basic techniques and handling.
